Tower Rescue Technician
Course Overview
This 40hr, 4-day course is designed to provide operations-level and technician-level skills to all participants. The course meets all technician-level requirements outlined in the Tower Rescue Chapter of NFPA 1006 (2021) & 1670 (2017).
Florida Residents: This is a Florida Division of State Fire Marshal (FireTRAQ) registered/approved course. The course has been approved, and is tracked, by the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training (BFST), with completion records uploaded to the FireTRAQ database for certification purposes.

Required Equipment
All required safety and rope access equipment is provided by Elevated Safety.

- RF safety
- Tower climbing equipment and techniques
- Tower rescue methods
- Outlined requirements in Tower Rescue Chapter of NFPA 1670
- Written and practical tests
- Note: State certification is not available.

Cancelation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to Kallie.hunt@harken.com. Registrations cancelled prior to 15 days before the start of the course are not subject to a cancellation fee. Registrations canceled 14 to 8 days before the start of the course shall be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 7 or fewer days before the start date of the course will be charged the full course fee.
