Course Overview

This 3-day course is geared toward the fire department or other professional technicians looking to accelerate their skills. Focusing on Rope Access skills adopted from SPRAT and IRATA, and how they can be applied to making quick patient access and more efficient rigging decisions.

Developing skills and vertical mobility will dramatically increase speed and efficiency of any team or rescue. Skills will be practiced at the Elevated Safety facility and then applied to practical scenarios at outside urban locations. The class focus is on rope access and rigging skills and applies them to a rescue environment in a compressed 3-day format. This class will be a great skills course and some hours will be given for SPRAT certified technicians.

What To Bring

Equipment Required: Helmet and class 3 harness
Equipment Recommended: Petzl ASAP, Petzl ID or CMC Clutch, chest and handle ascender

Prerequisites

All required safety and rope access equipment is provided by Elevated Safety.

Location Information
