Urban Rigging & Rescue

Course Overview
This class is geared towards rope rescue technicians and teams that operate in the urban environment. The class will be focused on rigging and rescue situations specific to the urban environment such as:
- Elevator rescues
- Window washer swing stage and rope descent system rescues
- Tower worker
- Rigging on the top of buildings with no certified anchors
- AHD rigging for ladder rescues, elevators, and confined space situations
- Horizontal movement
- And many more

Location Information
Various training locations will be used in and around Metropolitan areas, beginning at Palm Beach State College Fire Academy. Plan and prepare for all weather conditions.
Palm Beach State College Fire Academy
4200 S Congress Ave Lake Worth, FL 33461
Course takes place at the Fire Academy, located on the Far East side of campus.
Required Equipment
Helmet, class 3 harness, and rope gloves are required.
All other gear will be provided by Elevated Safety.
Target Audience
Paid and non-paid professional rope rescuers, industrial access technicians and Search and Rescue personnel.
