Snatchet (Ratcheting)

Overview

The Harken Snatchet provides the rigging flexibility to answer heavy lifting challenges in difficult settings by combining Harken’s high efficiency pulley engineering with a familiar and intuitive carabiner-based anchoring system well established in mountaineering and working-at-height. The result is a very flexible device easy to install and remove, that may be introduced to the middle of an existing rope system. Ratcheting versions engage via a sliding on-off switch on the unit and may be used in either mode. The sheave in the ratcheting version is equipped with facets to increase rope holding power.
