COURSE OVERVIEW

This 16-hour course is intended for employees who may be exposed to fall hazards meeting the requirements of OSHA 1910.126 & ANSI Z359 (2017).

Understanding how and when to use fall protection
How to calculate fall distances and choose appropriate safety equipment
Understanding and application of OSHA’s fall protection standards and ANSI’s recommendations
Utilizing fall protection equipment
Understanding fall arrest vs. fall restraint
Basics of suspension trauma
Self-rescue
Rescue and retrieval of a fallen worker
Customized workplace specific hazards, equipment, and policies

Course takes place from 0800 – 1630.

Cancelation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to Kallie.hunt@harken.com. Registrations cancelled prior to 15 days before the start of the course are not subject to a cancellation fee. Registrations canceled 14 to 8 days before the start of the course shall be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 7 or fewer days before the start date of the course will be charged the full course fee. All fees will be processed on the start date of the course.
