Confined Space Technician
Course Overview
This is a 4-day course is designed for the rescue professional who has previously attended Rope Rescue and Confined Space Rescue Operations as well as Hazardous Materials Operations. This course is compliant with NFPA 1006/1670 objectives to the confined space technician level. This course is eligible for hazardous materials refresher hours.
Course takes place from 0830 – 1700 each day (Four 8 hour days)
Course Includes:
- Will expand on knowledge acquired in confined space operations
- Advanced knowledge for rescue rigging
- Confined space entry and rescue procedures
- Understand interface between hazardous materials and the confined space rescue scene

Reference Manual
Interested students may purchase the Confined Space Rescue Technician Manual here. Purchasing the book is not mandatory, however it is the reference material for the Illinois Confined Space Operations and Confined Space Technician classes.

Customer Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to Kallie.hunt@harken.com. Registrations cancelled prior to 15 days before the start of the course are not subject to a cancellation fee. Registrations canceled 14 to 8 days before the start of the course shall be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 7 or fewer days before the start date of the course will be charged the full course fee. All fees will be processed on the start date of the course.
