New Paradigm Rescue

Course Overview

Faster patient access, fewer rescuers, cleaner systems and any gear in any environment. This is a new paradigm of possibilities for technical rescue, all possible from a proven method of cross-pollination. For too many decades rescuers have been hampered by lagging standards, cultural traditions, and a lack of understanding.

This course was built for the rescuer from any background/profession looking to take their skills to the next level by learning how to work within a small team utilizing gear on hand and choosing from a plethora of skills pulled from the world of rescue. You will perform the most complex of rescue scenarios utilizing simplified strategies and tactics. This simplification will allow for a cleaner, faster, and safer rescue.

This course is brought to you through a collaborative effort of Peak Rescue, Rescue 2 Training and Elevated Safety. A true partnership with the only goal of advancing the knowledge and skills of the next generation of rescuers.

Join us as we upload the science and real-world application of the new do’s and don’ts of rope rescue.

Location set-ups throughout the Jacksonville area.

Required Equipment

Attendees will need to bring the following to this course:

• Class 3 Harness
• Ascending Setup (chest and handle ascenders)
• Helmet

Recommended Gear

• Petzl ASAP
• Clutch, Petzl ID or Rig, Skylotec Sirius, or other like device
• Mini-Haul

It is recommended that all attendees have a solid working knowledge of ascending, knot passing, aid climbing, offsets, and highlines. Our YouTube Channel has multiple training videos focused on these training topics.
