Course Overview

This unique course is designed to help you increase safety and understanding in your rope access and rescue systems. Understand the techniques, anticipate the rescue, manage the team in a degraded situation and above all analyze the incident or accident so that it cannot happen again.

The risk analysis must be permanent and you will work on the virtuous circle B.D.A.B (Before, During, After, Before).

Florida Residents: This is a Florida State Fire College Database for Fire Service Training and Certification (FCDICE) registered/approved course. The course has been approved, and is tracked, by the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training (BFST), with completion records uploaded to the FCDICE database for certification purposes.

  • Risk analysis for rope access and rescue operations
  • Redundancies and safety systems
  • Understanding and optimization techniques (force measurements in systems)
  • Stressful working condition and mental potential optimization
  • Compliant with SPRAT recommendations

Prerequisites

Experienced Rope Access / Rope Recue Technicians

Target Audience

Paid and non-paid professional rope rescuers, industrial access technicians and Search and Rescue personnel.

Cancelation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to Kallie.hunt@harken.com. Registrations cancelled prior to 15 days before the start of the course are not subject to a cancellation fee. Registrations canceled 14 to 8 days before the start of the course shall be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 7 or fewer days before the start date of the course will be charged the full course fee.
