ELEVATED SAFETY NEWS:

Elevated Safety Took Part in Golden Ray Rescue Mission

Four Elevated Safety team members took part in the internationally celebrated mission to rescue four crew members trapped in The Golden Ray, the capsized ship off the coast of Georgia. We are extremely proud to recognize this team’s humble and unparalleled service, pictured above with the four rescued crew members.

Our team were the first members of the rescue team on board The Golden Ray. They worked alongside other incredible rescue teams tirelessly until all four men were brought to safety. The Elevated Safety Team, along with a number of other organizations, are now focused on support of the salvage efforts, working with Defiant Marine, the best in the asset rescue business globally.

The leadership of the USCG and other partner organizations was phenomenal. This tremendously positive outcome is a testament to the constant training that is celebrated in the rope access and rescue community. Elevated Safety’s team is privileged to be of service.

For additional details on the rescue mission, watch Sean Cogan, a SPRAT Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor with Elevated Safety, describe the “emotional moment” when the crew members were rescued from the capsized Golden Ray during an interview with ABC News.
